Polaroid has introduced two new devices to their collection of unlocked smartphones, the Polaroid Snap and Polaroid Power at the CES 2016. The Polaroid Power unlocked smartphone will be available at $249.99 (approximately Rs 16,750). On the other hand, the Polaroid Snap unlocked smartphone will be available starting next month in three models featuring 5, 5.5, and 6-inch displays and will come at an MSRP of $129.99 – $179.99 (approximately Rs 8,700- 12,000) based on the screen size.
In terms of specifications, the Polaroid Snap will be available in three screen sizes – 5-inch, 5.5-inch, and 6-inch along with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and powered by a quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. One will find an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded via microSD card. In addition, the device will sport 1GB RAM/8GB internal storage variant. It will come equipped with a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera.
On the other hand, the Polaroid Power features a 6-inch full-HD display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It will be powered by an octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and will include an internal storage of 32GB. One will also find a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. A 3000mAh battery completes the package. The company has also stated that the Polaroid Power smartphone will come with an additional 8000mAh external power bank.
